Welcome to EDA: Eyewear Design Alliance! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of
our website, www.edaframes.com(“Site”), and your purchase of optical eyewear products from us,
including prescription glasses, sunglasses, and accessories. By accessing our Site or placing an order,
you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, please refrain from using our Site or services.
- About Us
EDA is operated by EDA USA, LLC, a company registered in Oregon, USA. Contact us at
[email protected]. - Products and Pricing
We sell optical eyewear, including prescription and non-prescription glasses, sunglasses, and
accessories. We strive to ensure product descriptions are accurate, but we don’t guarantee they’re error-
free. Prices are listed in USD and exclude shipping and applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We
may change prices or discontinue products at any time without notice. Errors in pricing will be corrected,
and we reserve the right to cancel orders affected by such errors.
- Prescription Products
Accuracy of Prescription: You’re responsible for providing a valid, up-to-date prescription from a licensed
eye care professional. We’re not liable for errors in the prescription you provide or for any health issues
arising from incorrect prescriptions.
Custom Orders: Prescription eyewear is custom-made based on your order. Due to this personalization,
such items may have limited return options (see Section 5). - Orders and Payment
Accepted Methods: We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Bank Wire and Venmo.
Payment: Full payment is due at checkout. For prescription products, production begins once payment
clears and any prescription verification is complete. If payment fails, we may cancel your order.
Order Confirmation: Orders are subject to our acceptance. We’ll email you a confirmation once accepted;
this forms the contract between us. - Shipping and Delivery
Shipping: We ship via USPS or UPS within the U.S. International shipping is available to select
countries.
Timing: Prescription eyewear typically ships within 7-14 business days after order confirmation due to
production time. Delivery estimates are provided at checkout but aren’t guaranteed. Delays due to
carriers or customs are beyond our control.
Risk: Ownership and risk of loss pass to you once the carrier takes possession of your order. - Returns and Refunds
Non-Prescription Items: Unused non-prescription items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a
refund or exchange, provided they’re in original condition with tags attached.
Prescription Items: Due to their custom nature, prescription glasses and contact lenses may only be
returned if defective or incorrect per your order. We’ll replace or refund defective items at no cost to you.
Process: Email [email protected] for a return authorization. Customers pay return shipping
unless the item is defective or incorrect.
Refunds: Processed within 10 business days of receiving the return, credited to your original payment
method. Custom prescription items are non-refundable unless defective. - Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EDA isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
(e.g., eye strain, discomfort, or injury) arising from the use of our products. We’re not responsible for
health outcomes related to prescriptions or product use—consult your eye care professional for medical
advice. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question. - Intellectual Property
All content on our Site—logos, images, text, lens technology descriptions—is owned by EDA USA, LLC
and protected by U.S. copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use it without
our written permission. - User Conduct
You agree not to:
Use our Site for unlawful purposes.
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload our systems.
Resell prescription products without proper authorization (where regulated). - Account and Privacy
Accounts: You’re responsible for keeping your account details secure, including any saved prescription
information. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.
Privacy: Our Privacy Policy (linked in the footer) explains how we handle your data, including prescription
details. - Health and Safety Disclaimer
Our products are not a substitute for professional eye care. We don’t provide medical advice. Always
consult a licensed optometrist or ophthalmologist for eye health concerns. Contact lenses and
prescription glasses should be used as directed by your eye care provider. - Termination
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or suspend accounts at our discretion, including for
suspected fraud, invalid prescriptions, or violation of these Terms. - Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Oregon, USA. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the
state or federal courts of Washington County, Oregon. - Dispute Resolution
Disputes must first be addressed via email to [email protected]. If unresolved within 30 days,
they’ll be settled through binding arbitration in Washinton County, Oregon under the American Arbitration
Association’s rules. - Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted here with an updated “Last Updated”
